Goffin And King – Gerry Goffin and Carol King – Song Writers. They were married in their teens and can only be described as a phenomenon. Their first break came due to their school friend, Neil Sedaka. The whole story is narrated in the musical Beautiful and is thoroughly recommended.

Her influence on soul music and artists was enormous.
