Not much known about the Megatons, possibly a house band of musicians at CHESS? Anyway “Shimmy Shimmy Walk” was a large hit in Manchester Soul Clubs .
Curiosly the theme basline of this recording was extensively used by Blues and R&B and Soul artists in the sixties.
One example is Separation by King Solomon which ads lyrics to the instrumental from the Megatons and speeds it up.
