Separation

The bass line on this recording by King Solomon owes much to SHIMMY SHIMMY WALK by The Megatons. Little is known about King Solomon himself, despite taking such a high sounding name. His real name, however, was King Sylvester Lee Melicious Solomon. At one time he played with the Blues Blasters band. We presume it was the Ska band but are not totally sure.

The ‘B’ side of Separation was Scratch My Back. As this was written by King Solomon we are very confident it’s not the same track that was sung by Slim Harpo!
