Madeline Bell – English black Soul Singer with a great voice – joined Blue Mink in the seventies. Kev Roberts puts “Picture Me Gone” at 467 on his Top 500 of Northern Soul. That’s amazing as the original was from Evie Sands and she doesn’t get an entry! Ms Bell’s version is excellent, just not the original.
It was I Really Got Carried Away that was her hit at The twisted Wheel.
