June Conquest and Donny Hathaway recorded ‘I Thank You’ in 1969. June went on to obscurity and Donny duetted with Roberta Flack. The single picked up sales later (very later actually, peaking at 41 in the R n B Charts in 1971), probably due to Donny’s success with Robert Flack. June packed it in.
