Comparisions have been made between the vocalist Brittney Howard and Janis Joplin but her voice is softer but still conveys the same heartfelt emotion. She has a look of Big Mama Thornton and that has to be the ultimate accolade.
Many of the tracks are written by Brittney and must be on everyone’s ‘listen to next’ list.
