It’s another of those Soul Flute Instrumentals this time by Burning Spear. Now is this the same group as the Soulful Strings or an independent group named after an instrumental by The Soulful Strings? so went the argument at the Blue Note Club in 1971 where these artists and their tracks were played.
I guess they were influenced by the Chess / Cadet recordings of The Soulful Strings.
And maybe they were inspired by Herbie Mann?
