In 1963 – 1965 there were several Blues/Folk Tours came to England. One of the venues was the Manchester Free Trade Hall. Artists appearing included: Sugar Pie Desanto, Julie Felix, Rambling Jack, Doctor and Buffy Saint Marie as well as some fairly obscure blues and gospel stars.
