Shout To The Top
We think Shout To The Top has got Soul. The Jam had Soul (yes really!) and they were obviously born again Mods. The Style Council followed on. The group lasted from 1983 to 1989 and incorporated various musicians, often on the scene in different groups. Mick Talbot, the keyboard player came across from Dexy’s Midnight Runners.
Paul Weller is often referred to these days as the Modfather. Anyway a great record.
