Written by the Poindexter brothers. These guys had a magnificent hit 45 on the original Soul scene in Manchester in the mid-sixties with “(Git Your) Backfield In Motion” and associated with this song is a mystery as the very same song was released years later by Mel and Tim, who were not Robert and Richard Poindexter, but both 45’s are exactly the same: More>.
