Apparently this ‘B’ side track by The Adventurers was first played at the Va Va Club Bolton by Richard Searling and 307 on Kev Roberts Top 500.
Okay, it’s a bit derivative but really it’s not bad at all. This group shouldn’t be confused with the Belfast band of the 1980s or in fact with the Swedish band of the sixties.
Actually, it’s difficult to find anything out about the Northern Soul group, except that they released this record in 1967 and we never heard it at the time…
