Our definition of sixties sounds includes all those artists and songs that we enjoyed – soul music or not. Yes, the Beach Boys are there (athough they get their own sub genre, Beach Music), as is Bob Dylan and Ray Charles.
Basically Sixties Sounds is where we stuck everyone who played in the sixties when we couldn’t think of where else to put them!
