Record Producers

Not all record producers were completely nice people. Phil Spector was at one time lauded as one of the most original and successful producers of pop and soul music but it didn’t stop him ending up in jail for murder.

Similarly, although Berry Gordy is credited with an amazing success story and being responsible for a massive outpouring of music which is still played today, he got there not without causing much pain to some of his artists.
