Jazz Played in Manchester Soul Clubs

The introduction of Jazz music into clubs such as The Twisted Wheel and The Blue Note was an innovation by DJ Roger Eagle. Jazz had been the forerunner of the British blues movement with drummers such as Ginger Baker and Charlie Watts moving over from jazz to blues then to rock.
