The Sheppards, formed in 1959 were a Do Wop, early R&B style six member group from Detroit with some great tracks who never quite made it. Tragic and then Stuborn Heart an import on Mirwood, (D Lomas import) fantastic soul number, was played frequently at the Blue Note. It was originally recoded by Ernest Moseley.
