“I Don’t Want To Cry” by Pearlean Gray was played on AFN / LUXENBOURG, a great favorite favourite and re-dug up by Roger at the Brazennose Street Twisted Wheel. And he also played “The Love Of My Man” the ‘B’ side – brilliant!!!
I Wanted to play these at The Blue Note, I scoured the auction import lists but never, ever could find a copy.
“I Don’t Want To Cry” was written and also sung by Chuck Jackson. And of course also played at The Wheel but how and in what order Roger got these 45 I’ll never know.
