It’s In His Kiss
Merry Clayton – famous at last as she is recognized as a great backing singer on Brown Sugar singing with the Rolling Stones. The song, of course, has now been shelved by the Stones as it is no longer considered acceptable to refer to women of differing races as ‘Brown Sugar’.
She made the first version of It’s In His Kiss – The Shoop Shoop Song made more famous by Betty Everett and later by Cher.
