The Walk by Jimmy McCracklin was R n B at its very best, both a soul hit and a blues hit ‘The Walk’ was a great big favourite at the ‘Wheel’ Manchester.

He was not simply a ‘blues’ only guy – Jimmy McCracklin did the Dog Pt1 and 2 (Minit) similar to Lowell Fulsom’s ‘Tramp’ (later covered by Jerry ‘O’ the DJ soul rapper: ‘Soul Lover’ and by Otis and Carla).  A true legend Jimmy was born on 13th August 1921 in St. Louis, a singer and a pianist.
