Well, Funkadelic might not to everyone’s taste who comes from a classic or northern Soul background, but this track is a groovy sound!
The band was formed in 1968 and had George Clinton as its lead singer. They moved genres from soul to psychedelic music which seemed to be all the rage after the LSD taking fashion took hold. Their later work such as Maggot Brain became really dark and strange and definitely a world away from soul music!
