I’ve Got So Much To Shout About
The Dixie Hummingbirds from Greenville, South Carolina USA were a genuine Gospel group who were the inspiration for many artists; Jackie Wilson, Bobby Bland The Temptations, Clyde McPhatter and many others.
Unbelievably, the group first started performing in the 1930s and have celebrated their 7th decade of entertaining – with a few changes in personnel.
1966 Newport Folk Festival was one of their finest live shows.
