Give Me Just A Little More Time (1970)
This song by Chairmen Of The Board was a Whopper at the Blue Note club, but by this time Soul was becoming challenged by Blue Beat/SKA and early Reggae…So there wasn’t much time left! But what a fantastic group with a label owned by Holland Dozier Holland they hardly put out a bad track.
Their next release was Everything’s Tuesday (1970) followed by a chain of hits Dangling On A String and a personal favourite of mine (DP) I’m On My Way to a Better Place.
