Marion Williams was an American gospel singer with an amazing voice which could hit almost any note. Listen to this song and you can’t fail to be moved. The song, written by Bob Dylan became a civil rights anthem.
Earl Gaines sang the blues, played drums. He toured with Bo Diddley, Etta James and Big Joe Turner. He also played drums with The Hi-Toppers.

More Love, That’s What We Need – The Gospel Classics
In fact a Blue Note gospel classic by The Gospel Classics! This song became a worldwide hit, with a title no one could really disagree with…
Actually, it’s more of a soul song in a Tymes kind of way. A nice positive sound with a good message.
The Gospel Classics
The group was composed of singers from various gospel groups scattered across Detroit. These songs with a positive message seem to have disappeared from today’s musical tastes.
A great 45′ played at the club in 1968-1969. Great Soul Gospel sound.

What The World Needs Now
An updated gospel styled re-vamped version by Tom Clay, somewhat like an audio documentary using Burt Bacharach song by The Sweet Inspirations song as the backing theme: about assassinations in sixties America.
Abraham, Martin and John was recorded by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles.
David Peaston with a political message for us all. If this is a political statement, it looks like the politicians, the bankers and the fabulously rich are not in it together with us!
A great record, David was discovered in a TV Talent Show.
Queen Esther Marrow has performed with all the greats, including BB King, Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin. Money Honey is a distinctly funky sounding song – she has the right voice for the track.
She has gone back to her gospel roots, forming the Harlem Gospel choir.
