Bobo – Mr Soul
Bobo Mr Soul She's My Woman

Hitch Hike To Heartbreak Road
Well this certainly rocks along and another from Bobo is She’s My Woman, but who is Bobo? and I am wondering if this has to be the MR Soul or Bobo who is narated about in: Jack That Cat Was Clean – “ fine-as-wine thousand dollar vines” – lyrics from the 1958 monologue recording by Dr Horse, that Roger Eagle played a few times at ‘The Wheel’.
Anyhow for us Soul Mods in the sixties at the Twisted Wheel Mr Soul was Bud Harper’s Mr Soul and a few other 45’s expressed our attitude as arragant elitist Mods; cool dressers and dancers: Cool Jerk by The Capitals, Good Time Charlie from Bobby Bland and not as popular and less well remembered: Dr Horse on a Fire label import which praises the style of Bobo, a New York style character, who must have been a real life person; maybe the name Bobo originates from it?.
A Belgium website is named JACK THAT CAT WAS CLEAN and has an interview with Roger Eagle.
Well investigation shows that this Bobo would have been too young to have recorded this one and he turns out to be – (real name): Beau Williams.
