Bobby Sheen
Bobby Sheen - Dr. Love

DR LOVE
His FIRST solo hit on the Soul scene.
Something New To Do (1972)
A slow classic, who said that Northern Soul was balladless and only for rapid dancers?
Also recorded by Prince Philip Mitchell: Something New To Do
Bobby Sheen’s version gets to 236 on the Northern Soul Top 500. For us we actually proffered the original DR Love from The Whispers but the Mister from Bobby Soxx and the Blue Jeans’s DR LOVE was OKayish. If I had been Kev I would have favoured Dr Love as my higher entry into the best Soul tracks from this great artist, but he does put it in his list at 441.
