Let’s Go (Pony)
The Routers were a bunch of session musicians when they released their first single Let’s Go (Pony) in September 1962. The hand clapping track is still to be heard at sporting events around the world.
They carried on releasing records up to 1964 and also recorded as The Marketts. Their pianist was Leon Russell.
