Buster Brown’s track would rattle out frequently during the Twisted Wheel blues period (1964 – 1965) as part of the boom in RnB and Blues which the club celebrated in a similar manner to a several others in London. this style of music was very much ‘in’ at that time. Buster Brown didn’t release any tracks until he was 48.
Fannie Mae was a minor chart hit in 1959 but revived and lived again in the UK blues club scene in the early to mid 1960s after a release on the SUE label.
